The Florida Center for Fiscal and Economic Policy, a nonprofit research organization, is seeking an FSU communications student for an internship in the FCFEP Tallahassee office for the current semester.  In addition, FCFEP seeks expressions of interest by students for an ongoing internship program for the Summer and Fall 2010 semesters.
FCFEP conducts independent research and educates the public and policymakers on state fiscal and economic policies with particular attention to their impact on low- and moderate-income families, individuals and small businesses.  More information about FCFEP is available at www.fcfep.org.
The intern will assist the Communications Director in writing and communicating reports and other material through the FCFEP website, its email list, Facebook page, blog and news releases. The internship will require a minimum of 10 hours of work each week at the FCFEP office (545 East Tennessee Street, across the street from Leon High School).  Scheduling details are flexible.
