Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing, writing and distributing press releases.
- Assist with producing, recording, editing, distributing and marketing Podcasts.
- Assist with photography and videography for marketing of North and North clients.
- Assist with the creation of innovative social media campaigns.
- Assist with planning, marketing, and executing a wide range of special events includingfundraisers for nonprofits and political figures, statewide association conferences, andothers.
- Graphic design of digital, and print marketing materials.
- Proof written materials to be used for print or electronic media outlets including socialmedia, websites, newspapers, blogs and TV/Radio appearances and commercials.
- Monitor of media outlets for news items of interest to the firm or it’s clients.
- Build and maintain media lists and relationships with both statewide and nationwidemedia outlets.
- Assist in communications with printers, graphic designers, and other firm relationshipswith vendors.
- Assist with managing and updating client social media accounts.
- Other public relations, marketing and communications tasks to be determined byexperience and/or firm need.Qualifications:
➢ Ability to work with others, exceptional communication skills - ➢ HTML experience preferred
➢ Experience with file management systems
➢ Ability to effectively write and proofread communications
➢ Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
➢ Adherence to deadlines and budget
➢ Reliable and trustworthy
- Professional in both appearance and demeanor
- Interns must be able to work 20 hours per week Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
- Internships are unpaid, however, may be taken for college credit
- Interns are expected to work one full semester
