Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing, writing and distributing press releases.
  • Assist with producing, recording, editing, distributing and marketing Podcasts.
  • Assist with photography and videography for marketing of North and North clients.
  • Assist with the creation of innovative social media campaigns.
  • Assist with planning, marketing, and executing a wide range of special events includingfundraisers for nonprofits and political figures, statewide association conferences, andothers.
  • Graphic design of digital, and print marketing materials.
  • Proof written materials to be used for print or electronic media outlets including socialmedia, websites, newspapers, blogs and TV/Radio appearances and commercials.
  • Monitor of media outlets for news items of interest to the firm or it’s clients.
  • Build and maintain media lists and relationships with both statewide and nationwidemedia outlets.
  • Assist in communications with printers, graphic designers, and other firm relationshipswith vendors.
  • Assist with managing and updating client social media accounts.
  • Other public relations, marketing and communications tasks to be determined byexperience and/or firm need.Qualifications:
    ➢ Ability to work with others, exceptional communication skills
  • ➢ HTML experience preferred
    ➢ Experience with file management systems
    ➢ Ability to effectively write and proofread communications
    ➢ Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
    ➢ Adherence to deadlines and budget
    ➢ Reliable and trustworthy
  • Professional in both appearance and demeanor
  •  Interns must be able to work 20 hours per week Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
  •  Internships are unpaid, however, may be taken for college credit
  •  Interns are expected to work one full semester
