Event Production Intern @ GLG

Event Production Intern (Virtual) Overview Of The RoleGLG’s  Event Production Internship role is an exciting opportunity for current university students looking to pursue a career in event production, operations, or a similar sector. The Spring internship is structured to develop your communication and teamwork skills, while supporting a fast-moving team and being remote. You will be aligned to the Americas, Event Production team to support the operational aspects of programming timely,  live  virtual events such as teleconferences and webcasts with our clients and network members.Key Responsibilities

  • Pro vide project support for content-generated materials, including the scheduling of live and virtual events
  • Data entry and system management
  • Quality check and audit event entries and schedule
  • Wrap the quality check network members’ slide decks
  • Supporting email marketing efforts
  • Monitoring live events remotely to troubleshoot potential issues
  • Supporting reconciliation of live event attendance post-event
  • Direct communication with GLG network members and clients on events-related issues
  • General administrative support as needed

An Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following attributes

·         Interest in gaining experience in an operational role supporting an Events product virtually at a platform-enabled company

·         High level of accuracy and attention to detail

·         Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities effectively

·         Proven ability to work in a fast-moving, virtual environment

·         Strong written and oral communication skills

·         Drives results while striving for consistency and process compliance

·         Fluency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software, or a track record of learning how to use new software tools
