Winter Park Public Library seeks an intern or volunteer to assist the Reference librarian on rotating weekends and some weekday afternoons.   The student will work directly with the public in providing reference, computer assistance, and one-on-one help with the OverDrive downloadable service. The student may also assist with classes if schedule permits.  Training will be provided.  The ideal candidate will be a self-motivator with excellent attention to detail and demonstrated interest in technology as it benefits libraries.  He or she will report to Nicole Heintzelman, Head of Adult Reference and Winter Park History.  Academic credit may be available.

Winter Park, population 30,000, is located just north of the city limits of Orlando; it is home to Rollins College, Valencia Community College, and many cultural attractions.

Hours: 10 hours per week.  Saturdays 9 – 5; Sundays 1 – 5.  Weekday hours are flexible.
