Going Pro: From the Interview to the First Year

Please join the Atlanta Emerging Librarians for a panel and workshop on July 13th, featuring speakers Alexandra Beswick, Pat Hawthorne, and Bryan Sinclair.

 

“Going Pro: From the Interview to the First Year” is the second in AEL’s 2013 series on becoming a professional librarian. This event will focus on practical interview strategies for both academic and public libraries, salary negotiations, and acclimating to a new professional environment. The speakers will offer insights on how to distinguish yourself among other candidates and be a good new employee.

 

Two continuing education credits have been approved for “Going Pro: From the Interview to First Year”.
