In this role you will be working closely with a Project Team comprised of Analysts, Developers, and Testers working towards a common goal of maintaining and enhancing existing systems. You will be expected to learn a wide range of technologies, as well as understand the specific Software Development Lifecycle used at Marquis.
Working Relationships
- Report to Project Manager
- Work in collaboration with other project team members
Professional Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain software
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Assist with testing of application as requested
- Work with members of project teams to make sure certain specifications are satisfied
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules
Professional Requirements
- Experience developing with OOP languages
- Classroom experience with Java development for web applications
- Fundamental understanding of JSPs, HTML, & CSS
- Knowledge of Database platforms such as SQL Server, DB2, & Oracle
- Aptitude to learn and understand new and emerging technologies
Education/Training
- Currently enrolled, and less than 1 year from graduation in one of the following (or equivalent) degree programs:
- Computer Science
- Management Information Systems
- Information Technology
- Information, Communication, and Technology
