Marketing Intern @ Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce

 Job Type: Internship (Paid) 

Semester: Spring 2025 through Summer 2025 with a possibility for Fall 2025 Semester 

Schedule/Location: 12-15 hours per week/Hybrid

We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media/Graphic Design/Marketing Intern to join our team and help us enhance our online presence, visual content and marketing strategies for the Chamber and our affiliate programs. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) 

• Support the development and execution of social media campaigns and strategies. 

• Design visually appealing graphics for social media posts, marketing materials, and website content 

• Assist in writing and editing newsletters, press releases, and other communication materials. 

• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all channels. 

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for content and campaigns. 

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events. 

Qualifications: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field. 

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Proficiency of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
