Founded in 1932, Rose Printing Company is a family owned and operated Tallahassee business and the largest most complete in-house book bindery in the Southeast.
Rose Printing is currently seeking interns to help with its New Technology initiatives such as online print ordering, custom product design through the web, integrated marketing campaigns, and custom web design. There are two openings for Junior and Senior intern with a possible future job opening for both. The scope of work is broad and can be defined to match the intern’s interest or skillset. This is a minimum 20 flexible hours per week position paying at least $12/hour
Responsibilities
Helpdesk/Internal support
- Troubleshoot client and server software and hardware issues
- Perform and check network backups
- Monitor and diagnose server log files
- Organize, label, and sort IT parts and materials
- Dimension server and backup acquisitions
- Update and upgrade computer hardware and software
Production support
- Write custom Crystal Reports using existing SQL Server data
- Trace, troubleshoot, and document Direct Machine Interfaces
- Design triggered reports and e-mails to assist in production decisions
- Automate existing processes through the use of web, database, and client applications
Rose Telegraphics
- Participate in the design and implementation of a new online ordering system for traditional print products
- Participate in design and launch of new custom print product unique to the industry
- Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns
- Design and implement ad tracking software
