Web Developer

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Position Description: Sachs Media Group is looking for a Web Developer to discover, design, develop, and refine tools to help clients effectively communicate their core messages online. Working directly with the Manager of Digital Projects, the Web Developer will use their technical skill-set to assist in the management and execution of a digital project from initial concept to full launch. The ideal candidate will be well versed in the latest front-end web technologies, with a solid understanding of responsive web techniques. The ideal candidate should also have excellent written communication skills and the ability to train clients / internal staff on how to maintain new projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

  • Front-end skill set of HTML / CSS, Javascript / jQuery

  • Ability to work with different hosting services, web servers, and database management

Preferred:

  • SCSS, using Sass or LESS

Digital Media Analyst

Location: Tallahassee, FL 

Position Description: Sachs Media Group is looking for a Digital Media Analyst to convey the meaning behind data. The Digital Media Analyst will act as a day-to-day contact on insights and analytics to digital and traditional media managers, providing data-driven recommendations. With a strong understanding of online marketing techniques, the analyst will also setup and optimize communication outreach and digital marketing campaigns, monitor online discourse, and implement search engine optimization tactics.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver data-driven hypotheses to inform outbound engagement efforts including search, display, native advertising and social media
  • Continually fine-tune digital campaigns and analyze digital marketing performance data in order to optimize ROI on Google AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Setup, monitor and optimize marketing automation campaigns
  • Provide regular quantitative and qualitative campaign insights and analysis reports across traditional and digital media channels
  • Work closely with Design, Marketing & Content teams to optimize user experience and customer targeting via key audience insights
  • Design clear data visualizations and reporting dashboards in Excel to create transparency into analysis for non-analytical stakeholders
  • Define, segment and target user bases relative to consumption trends across multiple digital platforms
  • Monitor and analyze traffic and user behavior patterns across diverse digital properties
  • Draw conclusions from complex data sets and make communications recommendations
  • Use digital analytics tools to collect data from digital properties
  • Infuse a data-driven approach into both long-term strategic decisions and day-to-day processes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required: 1-2+ years of experience in online marketing, e-commerce, direct response, web analytics and/or data analysis

Preferred: BS/BA with concentration in Strategy, Marketing, or Statistics or similar education; Prior agency experience

  • Deep knowledge and comfort across a range of digital analytics platforms, including Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, ComScore, SEOMoz, Twitter, etc.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel (manipulation of large datasets and knowledge of spreadsheet functionality: v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, graphing and macros)
  • Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Working knowledge of HTML and WordPress
  • Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

Online Content Creator

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Position Description: Do you love creating content? Do you love providing the public with information and tools they value? Sachs Media Group is looking for an Online Content Creator to generate new and exciting content for firm and client web properties. The Online Content Creator will work collaboratively with our social/digital, public relations, design, branding and marketing teams to help plan, write, edit and upload copy.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing various types of articles and social media posts on a wide range of topics for firm and client web properties and channels
  • Creating content that helps articulate the value of client products and services
  • Understanding and creating content that aligns with our buyer personas’ interests and needs
  • Developing new types of content from scratch to address problems or gaps in content strategies
  • Providing feedback to other contributors, and editing other writers’ content
  • Producing short-form video content and uploading that content to streaming websites
  • Optimizing content for search engines and lead generation
  • Contributing to long-form content projects, such as eBooks and white papers
  • Segmenting contact lists and personalizing emails based on recipients’ interests and needs
  • Practicing white-hat, honest, and creative SEO tactics

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required: 1-3+ years of content creation experience

Preferred: BS/BA with concentration in Writing, Editing, Communication, or similar education

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our clients’ various types of content
  • Intermediate understanding of video editing and production techniques and software suites
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop with a good eye for design
  • Strong understanding of how search engine ranking is influenced by web content development
  • An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/ scale marketing strategies and tactics
  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts

Social/Digital Media Intern

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Research Intern

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Position Description: Sachs Media Group is looking for a Research Intern to assist with various quantitative and qualitative projects. The Research Intern will use skills in data compilation, data analysis, and fact-finding to assist in the execution of research designs. At a minimum, the ideal candidate should have experience and confidence working with datasets in Microsoft Excel, and will have successfully completed at least introductory coursework in statistics and research methods. Excellent written communication skills and creativity are also important.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • Drafting white papers and literature reviews, often on public policy issues
  • Data collection and input
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Experience and/or interest in public opinion polling
  • Ability to draft survey questionnaires

Accounting Intern

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Position Description: Sachs Media Group is looking for an Accounting Intern to assist on wide range of financial projects related to management of a mid-sized professional firm. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills she or he may have acquired in school related to his or her particular areas of interest, and apply them in a professional setting. He or she will gain a better understanding of the role that finance can play in a corporate setting, and be better prepared to work in the arena of accounting.

Your daily activities may include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:

  • Help with accounts receivable, payable and statement reconciliation
  • Assist with month-end financial reports
  • Research procurement needs
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Expense reporting
  • Create spreadsheets
  • Scan, copy, and file documents
  • Work with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts
  • Manage the monthly tracking of our resource inventory
  • Data entry

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting major
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
