Office of Energy – Intern Description 

The Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, Office of Energy (department) has an opening for one to two paid interns ($8.25 per hour).

Minimum Qualification:     Open to all majors, all schools (undergraduate, graduate school, or law school)

Minimum Commitment:     10-20 hrs/week

Office of Energy – Intern Description

The candidate we seek must be skilled in the Microsoft program applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and must have skills in using a multi-line phone.  The applicant must have good organizational skills and the ability to learn new processes and different functions of the department.  We are looking for someone who works well with others, is a self-starter, and is motivated to do the best job possible.

The position requires that the individual provide high-level administrative support by conducting energy related research, legislative tracking, monitoring, preparing reports, handling information requests, assisting constituents, and performing administrative and clerical functions related to program management.
