Office Work Hours:  10 hours per week, to be completed between 9 AM-4 PM M-F,  spanning at least 3 days per week.

Position Description:  

The College of Communication & Information (CCI) is seeking a versatile paid intern for the Fall 2018 semester to support and advance the multiple videos and websites created by the College. FSU CCI offers an immersive experience designed to give students real-world experience, valuable skills and a core portfolio. Interns can expect to develop video content and perform testing on web-related applications such as:
-web pages
-content management systems (WordPress)
-plugins
-new and existing website content
-and any other aspects that affect the visitor and/or user experience
The intern will also use reporting tools such as Google Analytics to analyze website statistics and user’s behavior.

CCI holds our interns to the same standard as our full-time staff and encourage a “hands-on” approach. Our Intern student will have their own work load, work space, and deadlines.

Qualifications:

– The ability to code valid HTML, CSS, and some PHP/Javascript

– Graphic design and/or developing content for the web

– Video recording/editing abilities
