Photography Intern @ The Kearney Center

passion for community service to join our team! The Kearney Center provides temporary emergency shelter and housing-focused services to people experiencing homelessness, in a safe environment that promotes dignity and respect.

This internship position offers the opportunity to capture meaningful photo and video content that attracts donors, volunteers, and partnerships.

Position Type: Part-time
Hours per week: 10-15
Program Supervisor: Director of Community Impact
Direct Supervisor: Director of Community Impact

The internship experience will include:
• Capturing and editing professional photos and videos to use in communication materials such as direct mail solicitations, annual reports, social media, newsletters, and more
• Assisting with filming client interviews
• Keeping an organized database of all Kearney Center photos and videos in One Drive
• Highlighting events and daily activities on our social media stories
• Gathering industry insights and identifying content opportunities
• Collaborating on content planning with the marketing team

Requirements:
• Experience with photography
• Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom experience preferred
• Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Photography, Multi-Media Marketing, or a related field
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and utilize initiative
