Public Art Internship

Thomasville Center for the Arts is looking for creative, self-motivated artists/visionaries with the desire to work on Public Art projects over several programs, using the Design Thinking process with a focus on empathy.

This intern/interns will be led through the complete process for system management of documents across various platforms, and have the opportunity to be a true team-player with input in both design and implementation, as well as interaction across TCA programs. This is an amazing learning experience for any person aspiring to work in the art field.

Marketing, graphic design, experience with virtual platforms, as well as writing skills are a plus, but not required. Flexible on hours, but prefer a minimum of 2 days/week beginning September 2020.   Some applicants may be eligible for class credit from their college or university. Accepted interns will receive perks that include: tickets to events, class and workshop opportunities, FREE membership to THOM magazine.
