Communication Alumna Recognized as a Female Leader in Conservation

Carson Mitchell (’15, B.A. Media Communication Studies) has a passion for environmental advocacy, and she’s let this guide her career up until now. Loving the outdoors, she’s spent her life exploring and learning about Florida’s unique landscape.

Now, Carson is recognized as a leader in conservation in the state. Working as the Communications Manager for Florida Conservation Voters, she devotes her life to environmental advocacy and conservation. Carson also serves as a board member of the Tallahassee Area Association of Environmental Professionals, connecting Florida State University and Florida A&M University students to professionals as the organization’s Student Outreach Liaison.
