Seminole 100 recognizes the 100 fastest growing FSU alumni-owned businesses in the United States. Hosted by the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship within the FSU College of Business, the third annual ceremony honored 12 alumni of the FSU College of Communication and Information (CCI).

EY is the Seminole 100 financial partner, and verified information from each company to rank the businesses based on a compound annual growth rate. The rankings of the businesses were debuted at the February 2020 event at the University Center Club at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Notably, Walk West was named no. 10. Walk West is a nationally-recognized strategic marketing and communication agency in Raleigh, NC, where Sharon Delaney McCloud (’89, B.S. Communication) is the VP of Professional Development. Sharon joined Walk West when she merged her video production company, Greenroom Communications, with Walk West in 2017.

Additionally, Social Catering & Events, a company operated by Matt Thompson (’00, M.S. Communication, ’99, B.S. Public Relations) and Brian McKenna (’00, M.S. Communication), was ranked no. 11 on the list of Seminole 100. Based in Tallahassee, FL, Social Catering & Events is seen as a leader in the city’s hospitality landscape.
