Project A+ is seeking a research assistant to provide support for dissemination of research results for a multi-year project concerning college students on the autism spectrum. This position carries a responsibility of 20 hours per week, pays $19.32 per hour and includes in-state tuition remission for 9 credit hours during the summer session (May 13-August 2).
Essential Duties
- Creates and produces design projects such as infographics and research posters
- Assists with creating content for websites and posting content to those sites.
- Conducts literature reviews and creates associated scholarly content.
- Data analysis
- Create webinars
- Creates PowerPoint presentations
- Synthesizes research.
Qualifications, training and experience
- Doctoral or master’s student (can be online)
- Demonstrated professional graphic design/layout skills with a range of media.
- Demonstrated proficiency in page layout, illustration, high-level photo manipulation, and word processing software.
- Experience with websites, including content creation and posting.
- Ability to manage timelines and deadlines, and to see projects through from inception to completion.
- Considerable knowledge of approved English usage and of correct spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
- Considerable knowledge of computer equipment and peripherals used in graphic design and all aspects of pre-press production of printed materials.
- Ability to comprehend instructions and identify errors in original and finished materials.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
