Responsibilities

  • Compile niche press lists
  • Conduct media and issues monitoring
  • Pitch local, trade and national media outlets including radio, print, broadcast and digital
  • Write press releases, social content, blog posts, memos and other collateral
  • Pull together press clips for weekly clip packet
  • Research, schedule and coordinate speaking engagements, appearances and other thought leadership initiatives

  • Flexible scheduling
  • Must be able to commit to a 20+ hours/week
  • Duration: May 20- Aug. 23 (can be modified around school start/end dates)
  • Office in Arlington located near the Clarendon Metro stop
  • Opportunities for remote work
  • For class credit / $8.00/hour
