Minimum Training, Experience & Qualifications:
Experience with video-editing software, such as Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Abode Premier, etc. Access to video equipment, through school or personal means. Polished written and verbal communication skills. Acute attention to detail. Ability to prioritize/balance multiple projects. Creative/strategic thinker. Tech savvy: familiarity with social networking tools, Internet research tools, Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Previous office experience preferred.
Position Description:
This position will primarily be responsible for the development and implementation of video campaigns within the Workforce Development division. This includes, but is not limited to: Recording video footage of programs and events; Managing and updating the current YouTube site; Collaborating with TCC Channel 22 on Workforce Development productions. The person in this position will work closely with the Office of Communications to develop and support the marketing efforts of the Workforce Development division.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create promotional videos and multimedia pieces for stories
- Manage YouTube account and videos for other social media sites
- Coordinate with other social media interns and staff members to relay timely and accurate information to the community
- Meet with divisional staff to schedule video sessions covering training programs, success stories, events, etc.
- Other projects as assigned
