International Programs seeks someone to join International Programs development team to assist with development of business applications and maintaining International Programs applications. Work availability will be required during and between semesters. The number of hours would be approximately 25 (min) – 29 (max) hours per week (flexible scheduling) at $12 per hour.

Position Duties:

Support users with technical issues over the phone, email, or in person. Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Must meet Florida State University Employment Eligibility Requirements
  • Must have completed programming classes or have some programming experience

 

Additional Required Qualifications

  • Self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional
  • Object oriented development experience or classes (preferably in Java or C#)
  • Team focused
  • Willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some SQL programming skills
  • Some website development classes or experience
  • Some experience with version control
  • Integrated Development Environment (IDE) experience;
  • Java or C# programming experience;
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
