Qualifications
The FSU iSchool is seeking to fill a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. in information science, information technology, computer science, or another relevant discipline.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a colleague with a commitment to interdisciplinary research and teaching in network administration, games and simulations, and mobile applications that can be applied in a variety of contexts and from different perspectives (e.g. user behavior, information systems development, health informatics, implementation and evaluation, social marketing, advocacy, etc.).

Candidates should have a research agenda that fits within the broader research interests of the iSchool as well as the ability to work effectively within a highly interdisciplinary environment. A Ph.D. and strong technical skills are required. Successful applicants will teach at the undergraduate level and in both the Master’s and Ph.D. programs within the iSchool. Experience teaching online as well as face-to-face courses is desired. Faculty members are expected to serve on iSchool, College, and University committees, and to advise students.

Candidates should have a demonstrated record of achievement in academic research, teaching, and service. Network and other technology certifications are desired. Must meet University criteria for appointment at the rank of assistant professor.
