Job Summary: Works independently to review, analyze, and evaluate business system requirements and user needs. Assists in creation of the system design and functional specifications of solutions. Leads in the identification and analysis of complex system issues to direct troubleshooting and resolution. Resolves issues using software and hardware remediation techniques. Evaluates information gathered through workshops and surveys, business process description and task analysis. Leads and performs a variety of tasks such as creating product comparisons, conducting product testing and performing quality assurance. Performs tasks in support of system and product implementations.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related IT discipline. HR may substitute directly related professional experience for required education on a 1:1 basis.
Experience: Three years experience as systems analyst or equivalent technical position to include: requirement’s gathering, system administration, system installation, system configuration, troubleshooting and repair. Candidate will be familiar with System Development Life Cycle Processes, relational database concepts, networking, and client-server concepts. Knowledge and experience identifying root causes of problems. Proficient with Microsoft and CISCO products.
Certifications: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations Certification preferred.
