Position Summary     Development Associate-

Responsible for providing advanced project management for the Office of Development by independently formulating and implementing, from conceptual direction, develops plans to achieve desired departmental objectives related to Childrens Miracle Network. Ninety percent of time is spent exercising discretion, independent judgment and problem solving to manage project tasks which include the production of high level documents and dynamic databases requiring the application of high level PC software skills.

Position Minimum Requirements     Bachelor’s and minimum 3 yrs. public contact work experience, preferably in Public/Community setting, fundraising activities, special event planning or related experience. 1 yr. Supervisory experience preferred; or a 4-yr degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, PR or related field required and demonstrated experience in fund raising. Ability to work well with corporate executives, volunteers, the media and general public. Strong leadership, communication and computer skills required. Experience coordinating special events/promotions, recruiting and managing volunteers, strong organization and planning skills, independent use of personal computer applications including word processing and data spreadsheets.
