Digital Strategist (Full-Time Position)

FlexPoint Media is a rapidly growing cross-channel media buying firm based in Virginia and Ohio. The firm seeks to fill an immediate full-time position for a creative, hard-working Digital Strategist to join our fast-growing digital practice to help our top-tier political and advocacy clients win. Based in our Virginia office, the Digital Strategist will work with FlexPoint’s national client base, primarily in the political vertical, to execute fast-paced digital campaigns.
Responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing ad rates, audience data, competitive intelligence, and performance metrics
- Executing ad placements and ensuring all details are 100% error-free
- Maintaining relationships with ad vendors and technology providers
- Collaborating with clients and FlexPoint team to produce compelling images for advertising, email, and social media campaigns
- Drafting copy for advertising, emails, social media, and longer-form content
- Proof-reading work and ensuring content is 100% error-free
- Preparing editorial calendars that factor in cultural, political, and current events and identifying creative linkages to our clients’ concerns
- Understanding and utilizing the full range of digital content from GIFs, videos, and photos across blog posts, emails, and social media posts
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- At least one year of previous experience with digital marketing, political advertising, and/or public affairs projects
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Understanding of digital advertising landscape and major social networks
- Exceptional writing ability
- Eye for great design
- Proven track record drafting creative and effective content for digital channels
- Ability to hit tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests and projects
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Adobe TubeMogul, Facebook Business Manager, and the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Experience with website content management systems such as WordPress is a plus
