Datamaxx Applied Technologies, Inc., a leader in Law Enforcement Technology is accepting resumes of students who are interested in gaining real-world experience at a software development company.

 

We are looking for a creative and aspiring Front-End Developer with a passion for pixel perfect design and a strong desire to make an instant and visible impact with an industry leading company located in Tallahassee, FL. The perfect candidate will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to create a variety of marketing projects, which will include website and graphic design.

 

NOTE: To be successful in this role, you will need to have some experience in both website and graphic design.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies
  • Passionate about responsive pixel perfect web pages
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new site features
  • Improve, rebuild, and optimize existing features and elements
  • Work directly with the Marketing Team to develop and execute print and digital collateral as needed, including but not limited to web banners, event signage, ads, brochures, newsletter graphics, and on-screen slides.
  • Pay attention to detail, and take ownership of key projects.
  • Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.

 

Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of leading design software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 (experience with JavaScript is a plus)
  • An ability to work on projects as part of a team and independently
  • Manage website and social networking profile content
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignment
  • Be available for a minimum of 15-20 hours a week
  • Experience with .NET Framework or Visual Studio a big plus

 

Individuals must be able to pass a FBI Background Check.
