Qualifications
High school diploma/equivalent and two years of full-time work experience in technology support and customer service, combined. (Note: Related post-high school education/coursework toward an IT degree and/or said experience may substitute at the equivalent rate).
Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and image deployment. Familiarity with other operating systems, outside of Microsoft operating systems.

Preferred
Active Directory experience a plus.

Responsibilities
This position serves as the IT Help Desk Manager at the College of Law, providing technical support to College of Law students and employees via telephone, e-mail or in person, both remotely and on site. Maintains and updates law school Technology web site. Assists with installation, maintenance, and/or modification of computer hardware and software, manages computer imaging system, and assists with research and the acquisition of technology. Also assists with managing user accounts, troubleshooting LAN and wireless connectivity, and virus/malware removal, as well as with audio-visual events, including personal presence throughout event when required. Manages inventory control and is the designated inventory taker for all law school technology and audio/visual equipment. Supervises OPS help desk technicians, providing training and guidance to the OPS technical support staff.
Pay Plan
This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position. Preference will be given to eligible veterans and their spouses with proper documentation (applicants must submit a copy of their DD214 with their online application).
