First Commerce Credit Union is currently seeking a full-time IT Support Technician for its office in Tallahassee, FL.

 

The IT Support Technician supports First Commerce’s vision To Be Our Members’ Financial Partner For Life through ensuring that the Credit Union’s technical infrastructure operates efficiently and with minimum down time by supporting and assisting with improving technologies that enhance the team member experience with technology, which in turn enhances productivity.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides first level IT support for users via phone or in person, including the repair and replacement of hardware and software with the objective of returning the workstation to service as soon as possible.
  • Provides basic troubleshooting and operational support through monitoring and timely response to service desk tickets.
  • Provide Windows desktop, laptop and mobile device support and maintenance.
  • Provide training, as necessary, in the use of specialized computer equipment.
  • Provide support and end user training on corporate phone system and voice mailboxes.
  • Attends meetings as required; reports to work on time and as scheduled; adheres to facility dress code.
  • Backup the Senior IT Support Specialist.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned or requested.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience:

EDUCATION: Associates Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience in a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years IT help desk experience
  • 2 years experience with Office 365 Suite
  • 2 years experience installing, servicing & troubleshooting problems with Microsoft Windows
  • 2 years experience with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome browsers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange is desired
