Responsibilities
This position helps to tell Florida State’s story through multi-platform video and audio, and digital content. Our new team member will help to write and produce a daily radio feature story for broadcast on our National Public Radio affiliate WFSU-FM and create video and digital content for multiple platforms including tv, web, and social media. You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have an opportunity to work with a team of experienced, award-winning content creators. Responsibilities include producing a daily radio segment for broadcast, enterprising news stories, interviewing subjects on or off-campus, scriptwriting, operating audio and video equipment, and editing. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of related experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years in same as above.)
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task on daily deadlines.
Experience operating audio recording equipment.
Experience operating video cameras and editing programs.
Knowledge of journalism, communications, and public relations.
Knowledge of media and public relations protocol in order to maintain effective working relationships with media, the university, and the community.
Experience producing digital content for multi-platform programming.
Preferred
Experience with on-air broadcast presentation.
Experience with Cinema and/or DSLR cameras.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects.
