Mississippi University for Women’s Fant Memorial Library invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment to coordinate library support for the University’s graduate programs. As part of a five-person Public Services Team committed to diversity, innovation, and outside-the-box thinking, this position will take the lead in developing, promoting, and implementing innovative services and resources for graduate programs. They will assess needs, create new programming, and foster an environment that promotes excellence in graduate teaching, learning, and research. This position is responsible for in-person and online information literacy, reference service, research consultations, subject guides, outreach, and collection development related to graduate student studies. As the liaison to health and social sciences departments, this library faculty member will be in a position to leverage the synergy between these disciplines at MUW. It is expected that the successful candidate will be responsive to the graduate curriculum and program changes. This position may require weeknight or weekend hours to ensure appropriate staffing at service desks.

As a tenure-track faculty member, the candidate is expected to build a comprehensive record of service, progressive scholarly contributions, and professional achievement to fulfill the University requirements for retention, tenure, and promotion.
