Come join a great staff at the Jackson State Community College Library in Jackson Tennessee as the next Instruction Librarian. You will be part of a great Library team.  The Instruction Librarian will be the lead person for information literacy instruction, but there are other librarians who will assist in instruction.

The college has strong programs in Nursing and Health Sciences as well as nationally recognized programs in Computer Information Systems.  There is a solid transfer program also.

The Library features a vast array of resources, including over 200,000 electronic books and 17,000 streaming videos.  There are 37,000 printed books also.

Jackson is on I-40, only one hour from Memphis and 2 hours from Nashville.

The city has a Symphony Orchestra, a major Art Museum, and many cultural opportunities at the 4 institutions of higher learning in town.  There are several parks, golf courses and some new public tennis courts.  A  Southern League baseball team affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks is in Jackson.

Jackson is known for its many restaurants.    Jackson has a TV station and many radio outlets.
