Metric strategies Program Director @ Institutional Research, FSU

This new position in the Office of Institutional Research will use both analytical and leadership skills to develop and support strategies for FSU’s ongoing efforts to grow and improve in key metrics and indicators. Your work will be focused on data analysis as well as the identification and execution of strategies to advance in those metrics. You will lead the development of visualizations and predictive models to guide institutional decision makers. You will also collaborate with others on campus to facilitate strategic planning and goal setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in higher education, statistics, econometrics, social sciences, or research sciences with training in quantitative methods.
  • Supervision experience as well as strong communication skills, ability to work well with others, adaptability, excellent work ethics and professionalism.
  • Data preparation and management experience as well as data analysis experience in one or more platforms (SAS, SPSS, R, Stata, etc.) as well as experience with data visualizations (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

    Anticipated Salary:

• The anticipated salary for this position is in the low to mid $70,000s, commensurate with education and experience.
