Student Success Analysts @ Institutional Research, FSU

Seeking 2 new members of the Student Success Analytics team. This team focuses on measuring and analyzing key higher education milestones: access to the university, admission to the desired major, year-over-year retention, timely graduation, financial affordability, and obtaining desired post-graduation outcomes. As an analyst, you will assist with 1) analysis and research, 2) data visualizations, 3) decision support, 4) internal reporting, 5) external reporting, and 6) campus partnerships all with the goal of supporting the University’s strategic plan and performance metrics. Our work includes a focus on identifying disparities in student success outcomes.

OVERVIEW OF QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors or masters degree in education, the social sciences, statistics, physical sciences, or related field with training in quantitative methods.
  • Experience in data preparation and management, conducting analyses, and preparing reports for public consumption.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and experience with software like SAS, Stata, SPSS, R, etc.
  • (Preferred) Experience in data visualization platforms such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
  • (Preferred) Experience working in higher education settings, part-time or full-time.

    ANTICIPATED SALARY

• The expected salary for each position is $50,000, commensurate with education and experience.
