Brockway Memorial Library in Miami Shores Village seeks full-time Youth Services Librarian.
Starting Salary: Dependent on Qualifications
Date to Begin Service: September 2016
Position will remain open until filled.
Essential Duties and Required Skills include:
This energetic and creative individual will develop and implement fun, innovative and dynamic literacy-based programs and services for the Library’s young patrons, ages 0-18. Examples of programs include Story Time, the annual Summer Reading Program and holiday fun!
In collaboration with the Library Director, the Youth Services Librarian will select, order and maintain new and existing materials in the Youth Collection, such as books, magazines and audiobooks. A knowledge of children’s and young adult literature is a must.
Additional Qualifications
 Master’s Degree in Library Science
 Enthusiastic about reading and librarianship!
