OPS Website Developer/ IT @ Florida Department of Health

Position: Website Developer/ IT

Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours per week

Pay: $35 per hour

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

Act as the main point of contact for clients (internal), understanding their data-related needs and challenges.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and regular updates on project progress.

Collaboration with IT:

Collaborate with IT professionals to design and implement customized solutions that address client needs.
Facilitate communication between the Health Department leadership and IT department, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of data solutions.

Project Management:

Oversee project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of data solutions and IT implementations.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.

 

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project specifications, and solution implementations.
Prepare regular reports and presentations detailing project status, key milestones, and client satisfaction metrics.

Qualifications:

Strong website development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or other relevant technologies.

Sufficiency and hands-on experience with SharePoint development and customization.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent skills and experience will also be considered.

 

Desired Skills:

Proven experience in designing and developing responsive and user-friendly websites.

Familiarity with web design principles.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and SharePoint solutions.

Experience in integrating third-party plugins and tools for enhanced website functionality.

Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
