Resource Sharing and Course Reserves Librarian @ The Hunt Library at Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU)

The Hunt Library at Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) invites applications for the position of Resource Sharing and Course Reserves Librarian. The Access Services Department is currently seeking a librarian who is passionate about serving a diverse population of residential and online students, faculty, and staff through connecting them with resources, managing course reserves, and engaging in collaborative projects with faculty and staff.
The successful candidate will join the Hunt Library, serving Daytona Beach and our Worldwide Campus of online students, working regular business hours and occasional nights and weekends.  This professional staff position reports to the Associate Director for Library Operations and Access Services.  Hunt Library is a forward-thinking, technologically advanced library organization on the Ex Libris Alma ILS and offering a robust range of electronic collections and integrated library software.
Duties include working as part of a team providing access to library resources and services; overseeing the borrowing and lending functions of Interlibrary Loan (ILL), including working with Ex Libris Rapido/RapidILL and supervising the ILL Technician; serving as the lead for the Leganto Team, including coordinating Leganto configurations and functionality; managing print course reserves;  serving as a member of the Collection Management Team and as a member of the Ex Libris Systems Team; and participating in collaborative team and cross-departmental assignments and special projects. No aviation or aerospace background is required: we welcome librarians from a wide variety of academic disciplines who will enjoy working with our dedicated, hardworking students, faculty, and staff. Required Qualifications:

ALA-accredited master’s degree in library science or information studies.
Prior experience in interlibrary loan services, resource sharing, or access services within a library setting is highly beneficial. Knowledge of integrated library systems (ILS) and other software and systems used for interlibrary loan.
Experience with/knowledge of managing course reserves, developing course reserve policies, creating brief catalog records, and maintaining course reserves records and statistics.
Proficiency in using integrated library systems (ILS) like Ex Libris Alma or similar platforms used for managing library collections, resource sharing, and interlibrary loan services.
Strong understanding of information retrieval methods, including databases, online catalogs, and other library resources.
Ability to provide excellent customer service to a diverse user population, including students, faculty, and staff. This involves communication skills both in-person and through virtual mediums.
Knowledge of copyright laws, lending policies, and best practices in interlibrary loan and resource sharing to ensure compliance and efficient service delivery.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse population of faculty/staff, students, and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively across library and organizational teams for projects such as collection management, promotion of library resources, and development of new library artifacts and initiatives.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience communicating effectively in a virtual environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Academic library experience.
Experience with Ex Libris Alma, Rapido, and/or Leganto.
Database knowledge and searching proficiency.
Experience training, supervising, or mentoring student assistants.
Proficiency with learning management software such as Canvas.
