Project Manager

The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Marketing Project Manager. The manager is responsible for coordinating the activities and workflow of employees engaged in development and distribution of marketing campaign concepts and tactics, including copywriting, social media and external public relations.  Applicants must have a proven track record of working successfully with cross-functional teams toward a common goal.

 

The project manager will bring new ideas, challenge strategic thinking and execute new marketing strategies to engage members.  The position requires knowledge of marketing and customer engagement through multiple multi-media platforms (print, digital, social, events and public relations).

 

Prior supervisory and project management experience are a must.  Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing are required.  Strong interpersonal skills, superb attention to detail, the ability to multi-task both independently and in a team environment are essential functions of this position.

 

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or journalism from an accredited college or university, and three years of commercial marketing, campaign development, and supervisory experience.  Prior association experience is a plus. An equivalent amount of combined work experience and education may be substituted for required education.
