We’re looking for a passionate User Experience Designer who is willing to contribute, learn and own their applications with pride. Our senior front end developers are technology experts in HTML, CSS and JavaScript – leading our team that owns the development of our web and mobile user interfaces.
We foster an understanding that we’re not building applications using the latest patterns, practices and technologies just for the sake of it – our primary overriding focus is delivering the correct solution for our users.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Articulate, understand and illustrate user needs
Design features and participate in product direction discussion
Stay current with web trends and standards
Create rapid prototypes during product development
Constantly coordinate with developers and product owner
Participate in user testing
Ensure UX consistency across product suite
Skills/Requirements
Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Human Computer Interaction or related field
2+ years of experience designing web and mobile applications
Impeccable problem solving skills
Solid visual and information design skills
Experience with sketching and prototyping tools
Confidence with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
Strong understanding of front-end web development (HTML and CSS)
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Unquestionable team player
A Big Plus
Experience with agile software development
Experience designing data visualizations and animations
Understanding of mobile design patterns and gestures
Understanding of JavaScript
Awareness and appreciation for what makes a web application “accessible” and the associated standards
