MAJOR FUNCTIONS: TCC is seeking an individual with initiative and a commitment to quality service to join our team as its Web Collaboration and Special Projects Coordinator. The person filling this position will create SharePoint-based solutions for user-requested projects as assigned by the SharePoint Portal Manager. Interact with the SharePoint Project Manager, project requestors, SharePoint users and others to convey technical project requirements and verify specifications. Maintain security on SharePoint sites as needed. Assist the SharePoint Portal Manager in training users to navigate, develop, and manage sites across the TCC SharePoint environments. Assist the SharePoint Portal Manager in training users to utilize custom solutions designed for them by the IT Department within SharePoint. Assist the Vice President with Division budget oversight and procurement. Supervise and coordinate OPS daily work plan and perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of work experience in Web Services, SharePoint or InfoPath design services. Site collection administration experience in SharePoint 2007 and/or SharePoint 2010 is also required.

Proficient skills in word processing, data base management, project and spreadsheet software. Proficient skills in effective oral and written communication including presenting ideas, conclusions and recommendations persuasively and in an effective manner. Proficient in human relations and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient skills in using advancements in the field of management and automated information systems. Proficient skills in developing and organizing web sites for internal and external use. Ability to use resources to find information to solve technology issues and critically assess situations and make sound judgments. Ability to establish specific program objectives, long and short term planning & forecasting, operating procedures, productivity and effectiveness standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team and utilize problem-solving techniques. Ability to work with diverse people and in diverse situations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks, which are complex and broad in nature, and use excellent time management skills. Ability to interpret raw data, draw inferences from this data, and clearly articulate how this data might be used to improve the division and/or the College. Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports. Ability to represent the division and the College in a positive, professional manner.

PREFERENCES: Preference will be given to applicants with experience using SharePoint Designer Workflows, InfoPath Forms Services, and Excel Services to create custom solutions. Preference will also be given to veterans and spouses who are eligible under the Veterans’ Preference Law.
