The Quality Assurance person assists in the overall management of technical requirements and testing environments between internal staff and client.  Taking direction from the Development Manager, the Quality Assurance role will be responsible for creating test documentation and executing the testing of web applications to make sure the programs and applications perform properly.
Critical Job Elements
Assists the Development Manager in communicating, implementing, and managing the technical requirements testing environments.
∙ Provides technical communications with internal teams
Plays an integral role in identifying and assessing technical related design and programming obstacles
Conducts Quality Assurance Testing (QA) with development teams.
∙ Follows QA processes and procedures to ensure that accurate tests are conducted and documented
∙ Compiles and communicates QA results
∙ Ensures that QA project timelines are adhered to
Engages in personal and professional development.
∙ Actively seeks to expand personal and professional knowledge base
∙ Participates in training activities provided by internal staff
∙ Seeks to understand existing processes among various business units
∙ Researches, learns, and keeps abreast if industry trends, products, and services

Qualifications
∙ Good verbal and written communication
∙ Experience and ability in managing multiple
∙ Helpful, yet not required, understanding and experience using Adobe, Photoshop—or equivalent Web design authoring tools such as Adobe Dreanweaver and Fireworks to design web pages
∙ Minimal Programming background preferred, but not required (html and css)
∙ Self-starter with the ability to work independently reporting back concerns and status
∙ Understandingof Microsoft Office Software applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, or Project
∙ Understanding with industry standard analytics and Web statistics tools and applications such as Google Analytics and Omniture
∙ Understanding of QA methodologies and QA processes
