Job Description

The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accounts (FICPA) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Webmaster. Incumbent will be responsible for monitoring, improving, and updating the FICPA website. Duties include website maintenance, research and development, and implementation of new applications, features, and tools developed internally or by outside vendors. Manages the activities of the Technical Coordinator.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in developing websites through the use of Web design best practices, Web programing, and Web graphic design. Position requires programming experience using various languages (including, but not limited to: HTML, Javascript, SQL and ASP.NET) and utilization of relational database servers such as Microsoft SQL.  Candidates must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as high attention to detail and accuracy.  The ability to prioritize tasks efficiently; schedule projects and deadlines; perform under time constraints and pressures; and perform multiple tasks are required.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Studies, Communications, Graphic/Web Design, or a related field.  Two to three years experience in a supervisory web management role and two years experience in a web development and production role, preferably in a non-profit membership association environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.  Strong Web design, graphic design, Web usability, Web Analytics, writing, and editing skills. Possession of a State of Florida Class E Driver’s License is required at the time of employment.
