Trimark Properties (http://www.trimarkproperties.com/index.php) is accepting applications for their Advertising & Marketing Internship at the company headquarters in Gainesville FL. Trimark owns and manages 23 apartment complexes, two student residence halls, and numerous houses—all within walking distance of the University of Florida campus. Trimark is currently building two brand new apartment complexes which will open in August 2013, and they are seeking new associates to join their team and assist in the development of the 2013-2014 strategic marketing plan. Interns work between 12 and 15 hours per week for part-time internships and 30 hours per week for full-time internships. This is not a ‘coffee and copying’ type of internship; this is an opportunity to develop real work skills and develop a portfolio.

 

Preference is giving to students in their Junior or Senior level studying advertising, marketing or communications. Previous marketing or advertising work experience is a plus, but not required. Students will learn the full Adobe suite, including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and will assist with designing apartment brochures, developing apartment logos, floorplans, virtual tour photography, social media and more. Applicants must have strong computer skills and a good work ethic.
