The College of Communication & Information (CCI) congratulates the following specialized faculty members on their recent promotions!
Jinger Deason was promoted to Teaching Faculty II in the School of Communication Science & Disorders (SCSD). Deason also serves as the Graduate Program Director for Distance Learning in SCSD and was selected as a recipient for the 2023-24 FSU Inclusive Teaching and Mentoring Award.
Lucas von Hollen was promoted to Teaching Faculty II in the School of Information. He is currently an instructor of emerging technologies but has pursued a range of careers beforehand, including game designer, software engineer, videographer, programmer, clown, and, oddly enough, “Techno Wizard”. Some of his teaching interests include entertainment psychology, user experience design, and information technologies.
Faye R. Jones was promoted to Research Faculty III in the CCI Office of the Dean. Dr. Jones also serves as the Associate Director of the FSU Information Institute, where she is PI of the NSF-funded project HSI Evolucion and Co-PI of other federally funded research grants. Some of her research interests include STEM student graduation and employment outcomes and the exploration of college-to-career pathways in Computer, Information Science, and Engineering (CISE) fields. For fun, Dr. Jones enjoys taking her Rottweiler Maximus to Sieger conformation shows.
Ebe Randeree was promoted to Teaching Faculty III in the CCI Office of the Dean. Randeree also serves as CCI’s Associate Dean of Finance & Administration, PI of the FSU STARS Alliance, and Program Advisor of FSU ASCENT. Randeree’s work in the College focuses on Finance, Communication, Employer Outreach, and Student/Community Engagement.
