SLIS to provide home library for Habitat family

Associate Professor Nancy Everhart joined FSU School of Library & Information Studies (SLIS) alumnus Warrick Dunn and others in a celebration ceremony for new Habitat for Humanity homeowner Bridgette Joseph on Feb. 12. Everhart announced plans to furnish Joseph and her three children with a $1,000 home library in partnership with Follett Library Resources. SLIS master’s students will work with the family to create an appropriate collection of books.

This will be the fourth home library that SLIS and Follett have provided for a Habitat single-parent family in partnership with Dunn’s Homes for the Holidays organization since Everhart initiated the program in 2011.
