The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team’s success, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full time hours during the Summer Internship Program (June 3, 2024 – August 9, 2024).

This internship will include projects and tasks that relate to providing analysis and data support for capital raising requirements as well as data analytics.

The Technical Specialist Intern will be responsible for supporting the Southeast Toyota Finance Advanced Analytics department. This internship will provide the opportunity to support the team in a variety of daily functions and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and business partners to understand business problems
• Manage, query, extract and analyze data in support of the execution of various capital market funding activities.
• Build and review reports related to transactions for accuracy and reasonableness prior to submission to internal/external counterparties
• Any activity in the entire project lifecycle such as goal definition, data discovery, and visualization.

Qualifications:

• This is a full-time, hybrid position
• Ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in a bachelor or graduate degree seeking program at an accredited college or university with a focus in Data Analytics, Accounting, or Finance (qualified candidates actively enrolled for a degree in a related field will also be considered) and must have completed at least one semester of classes
• Excel experience is critical (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc). Power BI experience is a plus
• Experience in using SAS or any comparable software preferred
• Able to prioritize task and effectively manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Highly detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Maintain data integrity and treat all data and information in strict confidentiality
