BGGA Marketing Intern Job Description
Bishops Gate Golf Academy is accepting applications for a Marketing and Communications
Associate position for the Summer of 2015. This entry-level position prepares you for a future
career path in the marketing industry and, more specifically, the sports industry. Below you will
find a brief overview of what will be expected from the Marketing and Communications Associate
through the day-to-day operations of BGGA’s Marketing Department.

strong program that combines technical, mental, strategic, and physical training into an
individual blueprint for each athlete. With exclusive access to the world-class Golf Training
Center at Bishops Gate and a partnership with the premier Montverde Academy, Bishops Gate Golf
Academy is changing the game when it comes to junior golf development.

Full-Time Player Development Program, Summer and Winter Camps, and private lessons. More

List of Responsibilities
• Work within BGGA Branding Guidelines to develop online and print advertisements, marketing
collateral, and other collateral
• Assist with management of all of BGGA’s social media outlets
• Content creation
• Posting on behalf on BGGA
• Monitoring social media for relevant trends/posts/conversations
• Assist with analytics of website, AdWords, and Social Media
• Assist with preparation of email database and weekly eblasts
• Attend weekend tournaments to take pictures of BGGA students
• Write a weekly “At BGGA” news/blog post for bgga.com
• Assist in writing the occasional Press Release
• Assist sales and marketing with clinic preparation
• Prepare admissions folders, gather “give-away” packages
• During Summer Camp, help prepare camp packages
Preferred Qualifications
• 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in the Sports Industry
• 2+ years of experience with Social Media Platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc)
• Golf knowledge
• Experience in writing stories for golf
• Proficient in the use of Mac OS
• Proficient in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficient in the use of Canon DSLR cameras
• Some knowledge of video production or animation
• HTML, CSS, and/or other Code writing experience
• Willingness to travel should the need arise
• Valid driver’s license
