Education requirement: 
Bachelor degree completed in archival studies, history, or information sciences
Required Qualifications/Experience: 

  1. Owns a computer with Internet access.
  2. Self-motivated
  3. Good typist

Internship Project(s) Description:  

This internship is for a student interested in mastering ArchiveSpace. ArchiveSpace is an information management tool for managing and providing web access to archives, manuscripts, and digital objects. The Ringling Archives hosts their finding aids on the FSU ArchivesSpace portal.  The intern will enter the completed Ringling archives finding aids into the FSU ArchivesSpace portal.

Learning Outcomes: 

Support core functions in archives administration.  Functions like: arrangement and description of materials including analog, hybrid, and born digital content and making materials accessible via a public user interface.
