10-20 hours per week
This position in Tallahassee supports the Marketing and Business Development program for Genesis, a Florida engineering, planning, landscape architecture and urban design firm with six Florida offices. The position offers the intern the opportunity to work with the Marketing Director, Marketing Coordinators in the firm’s offices, and practicing professionals on a variety of projects and initiatives to help brand, position, and promote the firm.
Activities may include:
- Researching and writing copy for a variety of media such as brochures, project profiles, company website, professional bios
- Drafting and distributing news releases
- Supporting the creation of a new online news room
- Supporting promotional /direct marketing campaigns
- Expanding/ enhancing firm’s social media presence: Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and possibly other
- Proofreading proposals and other marketing media and assisting production when required
- Video production and project photography
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills, strong MS Office skills, and experience with Social Media.
Experience with InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Constant Contact, photography and video production, and publicity/media relations is desired.
