Marketing Intern @ TCChorus

The Tallahassee Community Chorus (TCChorus) presents residents of Leon and the surrounding counties with live concerts of choral masterworks of the highest caliber, provides educational opportunities in the community, and showcases Tallahassee’s cultural distinction via national and international travel. With four major performances each season, the Tallahassee Community Chorus strives to maintain one of the finest non-auditioned mixed community choral ensembles in the nation.

TCChorus seeks a Marketing Intern for our 35th anniversary season, who will work closely with the Director of Publicity and Marketing, as well as the Executive Director, on the duties and responsibilities outlined below:

• Create and implement social media campaigns to include written text, images, videos, and other content• Take photos/videos and update social media accounts on a regular basis with content discussed with Director of Publicity and Marketing or Executive Director• Attend and participate in Board of Directors meetings and events throughout the season• Other duties as assignedNOTE: For this position, participation as a chorus member is NOT required

Qualifications:• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Graduate or undergraduate student majoring in arts administration, marketing, music, or related field• Social media marketing experience preferred (Facebook, Instagram, and/or WordPress)

Other Information:• The internship will run from August 22nd, 2022 through April 2023.• Schedules will vary depending on the week, but the intern should expect to work approximately 5 hours/week, splitting time between Monday night rehearsals, Board meetings and events, and at-home work.• Benefits include: $500 stipend, waived registration fees to sing with the Chorus, and academic credit, if desired.
