INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: REMOTE SOCIAL MEDIA & PR ASSISTANT
**Seeking a creative college student to help grow the presence of the children’s book, The Napping Tent!
Join an independent author’s team to gain real-world marketing, public relations, and content creation experience while building a robust professional portfolio.
TIME COMMITMENT & COMPENSATION
- Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week
- Schedule: Highly flexible around your class schedule
- Location: 100% Fully Remote
- Compensation: Academic Credit & Resume/Portfolio Building
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Content Creation: Brainstorm, design, and draft engaging social media posts to highlight the book’s themes of early literacy, cozy blanket forts, and early childhood wellness.
- PR & Brand Building: Assist with basic promotional outreach, tracking campaign ideas, and drafting communication materials for school visits and community events.
- Independent Projects: Take ownership of unique marketing ideas to capture the attention of parents, educators, and libraries.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- A current college student majoring in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or Creative Writing.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working
- Enthusiastic about children’s literature and early childhood development.
- Familiar with basic social media platforms and digital design tools like Canva.
