We are Electronic, the Dance Music Magazine. We are an independent media publisher based in Tallahassee, FL. We are the East Coast’s primary curators of electronic dance music, our mission is simple: to keep the fans of electronic music updated on everything happening within the electronic music dance scene. Covering everything from Trance and House, to Dubstep and Drum & Bass, it is our job to bring you the music you are looking for, as well as exclusive interviews with industry professionals, up-to-date tour information on your favorite artists, and more. We are also the proud producers of the music blog DirtyRaveShoes.com, featuring the best weekly music selections, tour updates, videos, and interviews. We are looking to expand our talented team that can help us reach the world wide dance music community. If you are knowledgeable on the dance music industry, hard working, and are looking to expand your network while refining your skills and expanding you portfolio then this is the internship for you.

IT/Web Design Responsibilities:
- Create high quality designs for use in websites using HTML, or HTML5
- Assist in company website and word press blog maintenance
- Design advertising creative mediums for marketing efforts
- Improve product usability
Qualifications:
- Understanding of color, space, and typography
- *Sufficient Knowledge of the Dance Music Industry and community.
- Proficient in HTML, or HTML5 coding along with Adobe Creative Suite Software including but not limited to Flash, Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator. (plus)
- Visual and user-focused design skills accompanied with an eye for detail
- Experience in designing for the web
- Basic web development (front-end) knowledge, specifically XHTML and CSS
- Knowledge of Flash is a plus
